Joan Dark should have had an epic battle in hell. However, my issues with it are that there are many more DOOM demons to include, not super exciting action sequences (but not terrible either), and the big boss was a pansy. But it still looked alright.ĭude put a decent script together. They couldn’t afford the big names from Hollywood, the manpower, better stages, better visual effects, better everything. If this were the 1970s and it were Alien it would have gotten the same idiotic reaction from idiot American audiences. What they pulled off with that 's a 9/10 from me.
What else to want from a movie of this budget?
More are complaining that the movie used "Dr Bedruger" which about 200 million German speaking people will know that translates to "Dr Traitor", but it's actually the name used by the character in the game.īad guy was intelligent and, actually, somehow.kind of won. There was one such instance, but you'll see that he overcome it. I've never defended feminism and never will, but the men in the movie were not cowards. I saw someone saying that it presented men as spineless cowards. I'm not a fan of lead female characters, but this movie wasn't about that. This is exactly what I want to see in a movie. So forgive me for not jumping on the bandwagon> Yes, it was a low-budget movie. In an age when cinema is dead, it was the only good movie to come out of 2019 together with "Glass" (yes, fuck all the others, including your precious "John Wick" with dogs biting on men's balls just to push feminist "femme fatale" agenda and Joaquin Phoenix' overrated performance and everything else).
